EnChor is proud to support an active Outreach Program in addition to our regular concerts. Through this program the choir is able to bring the joy of song to a variety of groups and organizations in our community.
During the past several seasons we have performed for the following groups and organizations:
- Callanish Society in support of families affected by cancer.
- Canuck Place Children’s Hospice Christmas lighting ceremony
- Children’s “Make a Wish” Foundation Flight to Find Santa at Vancouver Airport
- Crofton Manor, Hollyburn House and Tapestry retirement homes
- Vancouver Hospice Society
- PARC retirement homes
- Elim Village retirement community
EnChor also provides an annual scholarship for a graduate student in the UBC Choral Conducting Program.
Finally, from time to time, EnChor commissions a new choral work from a Canadian Composer.
