EnChor is an auditioned SATB choir for over-55’s directed by Morna Edmundson.  In a few short years after its founding in 2007 by Diane and Dick Loomer, EnChor achieved national recognition, with performances at Podium 2010, the biennial gathering of Canada’s leading choral conductors, and as a featured choir at the invitation-only international choral festival, Festival 500 Sharing the Voices 2011 in St. John’s, Newfoundland. EnChor was the host choir at the BC Choral Federation’s Chorfest in May 2014 as well as the BCCF’s Senior Chorfest in 2025. The choir has appeared with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra in its Traditional Christmas Concerts and at their Tea and Trumpets concerts.  Tours within British Columbia have taken EnChor to Victoria and Vernon. In July 2023, they performed at the renowned Kathaumixw Festival in Powell River, placing second in the Adult Mixed Choir category. At the gala closing concert the choir was presented with a special recognition certificate by the Festival Jury. In the words of jury chair, Fred Sjoberg, “The jury would like to recognize a very special choir here at Kathaumixw, one rich in singing and life experience. What a joy to have EnChor here at the festival, and for us all to experience what is possible as we continue to sing lifelong.”
