Where the Light Begins
A homage to humanity's resilience and indomitable spirit

Vancouver's EnChor Choir invites you to its fall concert, Where the Light Begins, featuring music by six Canadian and four international composers. The title takes its name from Burnaby-based Ramona Luengen's new work, in which poetry by Jan Richardson offers homage to humanity's resilience and indomitable spirit. The Vancouver Youth Choir, Junior Choir will join EnChor on stage. Conducted by Luke McAndless-Davis VYC Junior brings together talented singers in grades 8 to 11, offering them unique opportunities for musical growth and expression. This ensemble embodies VYC's belief in music's transformative power, providing singers with a platform to develop their skills, passion, and artistry in a supportive community. VYC Junior performs three times a year alongside other VYC choirs at prestigious venues like The Chan Centre and The Orpheum.
