Christmas Singalong with EnChor is a 20-minute video of seven favourite carols with prominently-displayed lyrics. Created for use by seniors’ facilities, we hope this video will encourage people of all ages to keep singing these well-loved carols.

Some Sunny Day
“Some Sunny Day” is the brainchild of EnChor’s Artistic Director, Morna Edmundson, and addressed two questions:
- How can you engage the talents of 60 dedicated singers when face-to-face rehearsals and in-person concerts are impossible?
- How can EnChor continue its Outreach Program, bringing the joy of singing to retirement homes and assisted living facilities during a pandemic, when outside visitors are restricted?
The result is a 40-minute video featuring songs ranging from classics like “Let Me Call You Sweetheart” to newer popular songs such as “Moon River” and “What a Wonderful World”. The tunes are sung by choir members whose individual recordings of themselves were combined into a single soundtrack, with piano accompaniment. Each song is accompanied by images that suit its mood and is introduced by a choir member to provide the history of the song—just like in a regular concert. To help viewers “sing along”, Morna Edmundson faces the “audience” to conduct each piece while the lyrics scroll across the screen.
